My dad, just before a bombing raid over Germany in 1942, was one of the 16,400,000 American members of “Antifa” who risked his life to free Europe from Fascism. He would‘be been 104 today. So happy he’s not here to see what Trump and the RepubliKlan have done to the country he loved. Cowards.

After many years as a professional writer, I wasted more time on naming characters than anything else. I tried to kick the habit, but when a new character was about to make an appearance, my focus abandoned me for the more rewarding task of scouring lists of names. Call me a nameaholic.

The sad truth is most people will take the quickest path and ignore where it ultimately leads.
