We both work hard and can make anything from nothing. We love deeply and fiercely. We understand that this is another day and tomorrow is as well, and the next day. It matters how you live in each one. Find your joy, it's there. You just have to look.

My favorite Christmas memory was not too long ago. I didn't have enough money for anything, much less a tree, so we put lights on a tomato cage and made the best of it. It was a hard Christmas, but taught me so much about my son and me.

My son hates Christmas and I want to love it, but I'm always so exhausted. Nonetheless, life is good in this moment because we just ate tater tots and I have the next two days off.
