there aren’t a lot of openly non binary nurses. not where I work. plus, my coworkers are all at least 5+ years older than me. the patient population we serve is also older too. we had a nonbinary patient and I watched my peers struggle with the right pronouns. at least they tried

being nonbinary is weird. I feel feminine and idm feminine terms or nicknames. some people on reddit have called me “man” or “bro” and I don’t… like it. but I’m also not a woman so? 🥴 it probably doesn’t help that I’m not out to my coworkers
