Most people will not be able to afford that - which is a death sentence.

What you SHOULD have done is partnered with food banks, and used state funds to help SNAP recipients, and provided no cost loans repayable with backpay for federal workers.

You and every other senator could’ve solved this with state funds and partnering with local food, banks and food drives no cost loans for federal workers repayable with backpay.
