I checked out their TikTok. They are fleeing persecution of transgender people, but that’s not actually happening in the USA. Definitely there is bigotry, but not persecution. They claimed to be a refugee but I don’t think the Canadian government is going to agree.

It is common knowledge that Vancouver British Columbia has incredibly expensive housing and housing shortage. These people were naïve to think they could just drive over the border and all their problems will be solved.
