its the absolute dumbest policy to have handcuffed workers to their employer for this life necessity.

Undermines small businesses and entrepreneurs and disincentives and precludes many from going out on their own shingle to compete,.all as a favor to big corporates. terrible policy decision.

From context, I have to think it's the latter.

Crypto is crypto. AI capx boom is publicly admitting its 1999 all over.

I saw think I saw a Sparty post earlier re short silver due to avg production cost well below spot.

No beef found with that redesign.

was really struggling to make the connection with the more infamous ICE and it's need/legality to invest

Where is the incremental cash coming from?

Higher wages relative to lower expenditures? Monetizing other assets into equities? margin?

This resonates. I classify my follows viaa lists (subreddit by topic).

I want to cast a wider net, but my biggest #bluesky frustration is weak search capability.

I can't use keywords AND limit to active posts w/ > X replies or > Y likes. Very Limiting. This was my tweetdeck research methodology.

When made right, they are pretty tasty. But I understand your take. Not my every day pizza.

No ooni to comment on, though I'm intrigued. always wanted a refractory style cooker for Neapolitan.

I'm a pizza addict and cycle through homemade variants/recipes in my oven.

My favorites right now are Detroit style (cup pepperoni, jack and Muenster to approximate brick cheese) and stromboli.

I make Chicago deep dish in my cast irons in the oven all the time. Works great.

No idea how a smoker works for pizza unless maybe it's a green egg or pellet burner that gets super hot 700+ degrees etc.

As a college sports fan, it's wild to me to see how prevalent gambling is.

I can't tell how much (negative) impact it's having on the individuals that participate, I can just see in their mentions and online activities they are active.

Congrats.

Any immediate reaction to who is in or out for the Ecuador and Australia friendlies? Anyone rise to your assessment of snub level or surprise inclusion?

I do not see Musah. Adams. Pepi nor Sargent. No Reyna (obviously).

Intersting

I always wonder how these spotted trends you post on are from your eyes picking them out or surfacing them from charts you physically watch/draw/study or are from screeners you're filtering for in search of charts/patterns to draw?

Trump is not a good faith actor or partner.

This is the key, long term issue for the US. Loss of global trust as a free market republic where laws and rules are sacrosanct. Eventual decay and loss of exorbitant privilege of USD, market risk free rate.

Just another emperor without any clothes on.

Mine is also a perk with some other service I pay annually for.

No issues using Paramount+ on browser, phone or my TV(s) UI. Stays logged in and works. Downloads as well.

Yep. CA tariffs/TOU are foreign to us TX folk. Wild how expensive there.

With TXs electric choice, you can choose a TOU plan (ie free nights/weekends), but it's far cry from CA 5-9 pm price surge. Most TX plans flat price/kWh

We'll get smacked as prices rise tho as 60-100 kwh/day is not uncommon.

Makes sense and you'e correct. I'm looking at it as a mostly static, just inflating, world.

Reality is material changes in cloud cover or avg daily temps would alter production or HVAC needs.

better idea is do all efficiency upgrades 1st, 2 size to today's needs today, 3 preplan for expansion

26.09.2025 16:57 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

yes that's the cost side of the equation.

but if you can closely it exactly match your usage to your production, it doesn't matter what incremental or rising costs look like since you want incurr them

26.09.2025 16:03 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I've also been skeptical on the plans offered by REPs for any incremental kilowatts I need beyond my panel production.

I I think it's very important to size your system to cover all your current and perhaps future needs if you're going to add EVs etc.

better to lock in a payment you're ok with.

I've forever struggled with the payback math on solar in TX, but the last 3 years of price increases have me rethinking.

no brainier.

Gas is 0.15-0.20 cheaper than local low price retailers + 5% back is another 0.13 cents

buying occasional appliances and electronics on sale gets you 2 vs 1 year warranty and better specs than similar BBY/Home Depot SKUs

thanks kindly for the prompt reply.

really wish @bsky.app would prioritize introducing API and UI functionality to unlock better search here.

Its a glaring deficiency IMO that makes it hard to find niche, topical threads.

@deck.blue Please advocate for these if you have their ear.

These lines got me ...

"What should you charge him with? This isn’t normally a problem prosecutors face, as they start with a crime, then figure out whodunnit, rather than starting with a person and only then deciding whathedun."
