What doesn't change is NPS employees' dedication to protecting the resources they care about. Some seasonals have been doing these jobs for love of parks (and very little money) for decades. It's ok if you don't understand that higher calling, but don't diss those that do.

Why doesn't anyone ever mention positions funded by fees?? Cost of collection positions are not paid from the federal budget and should be exempt as well! Do they really want NPs to stop collecting fees???
