They did remove entire sections of the books, yeah (like the onion ring scene). The name change of Grim to Grill only happened in one short story however.

Personally I'd like the original, unaltered texts but with the new intros that were in the later publications, so we can have the best of both.

Yes I know Ian Watson's books are kind of a meme, but they are objectively an important piece of 40K history.

To clarify, because some people seem to have the wrong idea, I'm not saying that creators shouldn't be paid for their work, they absolutely should. This is purely my thoughts in regards to how midrolls (i.e. adverts in the middle of the video) kill any attempts to build tension within horror videos.
