I guess I'll make another doc appt again but a month ago when I mentioned it it was just chalked up to stress and, i dunno. It's become more annoying to deal with and persisted long enough that it feels like more than that

I thought it was just asthma getting worse for a while but it seems to be more in the ribs/chest and not so much lungs. idk what the deal is but man it fucking sucks. Usually worst when I wake up, sometimes goes away for the day, then comes back again late at night. ~_~ Like a soreness/tightness

On top of everything else that's been rough lately I've been developing some kind of weird intermittent chronic pain issue that's been an interference more often and it's like. C'mon man. Really? Can't I catch a break

I'm glad I'm not alone because it's reaallllyyy starting to bug me how cold and detached all of them feel. Even something as small as giving sqq a hint of a smile, or adding a little more color as you said, could improve it so much, too.

The art is pretty, but devoid of emotion and character. I think this walled off or sad sort of expression on sqq could be fine for the second book due to the point we'd be at in the story, but to have it for all of them feels like it's just not representative of him at all, yknow?

No hate to the artist, they are very technically skilled, but the svsss hardcover art on the dust jacket is really not doing it for me at all. It's bothering me that sqq's got the same dead expression on three covers in a row now. Can there be a speck of warmth on the fourth one, please? TT_TT

A lot of these things are actually not as concrete and objective as people assume and can even fall into the realm of pseudoscience at worst but that's a whole other conversation.

My biggest pet peeve has got to be people using psychology speak to talk about fictional characters while clearly having no clue what the concepts actually refer to. But pointing this out gets people very defensive so I tend to choose quiet annoyance over mentioning anything ffffs

YES!!! Game so good that you want to start a new file as soon as you finish it. It's always a bittersweet feeling but at least in this case there is future DLC to look forward to, however long that may be. ;v;

I've spent so much time with Silksong the past two months that now that I'm staring down the final boss, I'm reeling a little that oh my god this is finally it. Over 100 hours and I'm so excited but I can't believe it's almost over!!!

Taking a break after Act 2 was 100% the right call because I can appreciate the challenge so much more.
Abyss escape was such a fantastic little sequence, and Seth and Karmelita are some of the best bosses of the game to the point where I forgo tools because they're so fun to do without them.

While I was working my way through Coral Tower I somehow got a bug where I was knocked to 0 masks but still alive. I healed too quick to think about it but I wonder how it would have functioned if I kept going. Would the next hit have killed me. Would I have been temporarily immortal

I love that more than half my time spent job hunting is researching if something is a scam or not. Then half the time even when it's not they aren't actually actively hiring. Real great market we got here right now, this is so motivating and doesn't make me want to just lay down and die at all

I have extremely mixed feelings about getting a new version of svsss. Will reserve judgement until we know more that's actually confirmed, but: On one hand, it's exciting to receive a new extra. On the other, an updated version to conform to censorship really really sours that. Eugh.

I'm totally used to feedback and crit when it comes to art, so idk what it is about writing but the thought of asking for it on that makes me nervous. Maybe because I have a lot less confidence that it is any good at all? Maybe because I see it as harder to 'objectively' improve on?

As much as I'm happy about the successes of others I feel like it's just becoming absolutely unbearable for me to hear about them because of how little anything at all has been going well for me upwards of a year now. And I really hate that.

They're all still very dear to me and the concepts would be fun ones to return to, but it's easy to get hung up on deciding what parts of an idea are worth preserving vs what parts you've maybe outgrown but have a harder time discarding after they've been core components for over a decade.
