YES!!! Game so good that you want to start a new file as soon as you finish it. It's always a bittersweet feeling but at least in this case there is future DLC to look forward to, however long that may be. ;v;

I've spent so much time with Silksong the past two months that now that I'm staring down the final boss, I'm reeling a little that oh my god this is finally it. Over 100 hours and I'm so excited but I can't believe it's almost over!!!

Taking a break after Act 2 was 100% the right call because I can appreciate the challenge so much more.
Abyss escape was such a fantastic little sequence, and Seth and Karmelita are some of the best bosses of the game to the point where I forgo tools because they're so fun to do without them.

All I can think is that maybe for some reason the game hadn't registered that my fractured mask had already broken earlier and was treating my health like it was still there?
Anyways no I did not make it to the end of those gauntlets on that attempt so RIP

While I was working my way through Coral Tower I somehow got a bug where I was knocked to 0 masks but still alive. I healed too quick to think about it but I wonder how it would have functioned if I kept going. Would the next hit have killed me. Would I have been temporarily immortal

I love that more than half my time spent job hunting is researching if something is a scam or not. Then half the time even when it's not they aren't actually actively hiring. Real great market we got here right now, this is so motivating and doesn't make me want to just lay down and die at all

Anyways what I'm hoping for is that it doesn't get turned into a modern setting ending via the extra lol. But if it does, it's hard for me to consider a censored edit of a book the true version if it changes a ton, yknow? An AU at best.

I have extremely mixed feelings about getting a new version of svsss. Will reserve judgement until we know more that's actually confirmed, but: On one hand, it's exciting to receive a new extra. On the other, an updated version to conform to censorship really really sours that. Eugh.

I'm totally used to feedback and crit when it comes to art, so idk what it is about writing but the thought of asking for it on that makes me nervous. Maybe because I have a lot less confidence that it is any good at all? Maybe because I see it as harder to 'objectively' improve on?

As much as I'm happy about the successes of others I feel like it's just becoming absolutely unbearable for me to hear about them because of how little anything at all has been going well for me upwards of a year now. And I really hate that.

They're all still very dear to me and the concepts would be fun ones to return to, but it's easy to get hung up on deciding what parts of an idea are worth preserving vs what parts you've maybe outgrown but have a harder time discarding after they've been core components for over a decade.

When I think about the desire to return to original story projects I've always thought of it in terms of reviving my longtime beloved OCs ,since I've already gone in depth with them before. But lately I've wondered if it might be better to start with something fresh before reworking old ideas

There are some pieces from months back I could probably easily touch up to be worthy of posting in like 30min each but man it is hard to even muster that much w this intense burnout!!! This year is really the worst I've ever had art block in my whole entire life and I know why, but damn dude

My final mask shard was the racing mini game and the SECOND I discovered there was a 'luigi wins by doing nothing' exploit I shamelessly went for it. After going thru all of the game's challenges to this point I was just like.. no. no minigames. NO MINI GAMES!!! GIVE. GIVE IT.

Silksong is fantastic and I'm overall having a blast but I think I need to take a break with another game since the difficulty of it combined with its length is fatiguing me a little.

Alright y'know what I'm deciding to save cursed ending for later ACT 3 LET'S GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I've been SO CLOSE several times fighting the final act 2 boss cursed, but goddamn only being allowed 2-3 mistakes is brutal. I'm making progress though I can almost taste victory, she's been on her final phase 6 of health on a good few attempts I just get nervous and fuck it up AUGHHHHH!!!!
