Researchers are now a step closer to supporting clinicians to make crucial early diagnoses in debilitating eye diseases and other conditions.

The SCONe project, a joint initiative by The University of Edinburgh and Glasgow Caledonian University, has secured over one million retinal images.

On Wednesday, 10 September, a new Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) opened in Lothian, set to expand UK capacity for delivering commercial clinical trials.
