The regular ed teacher (whose presence in the meeting was a formality) was like "Do I have to be here? I have a classroom to get back to." (and was probably like 😬 "This parent is being politely PISSED OFF.)

Helpful advice: Don't try to BS your way through an educational meeting when the parent HAS BEEN AN EDUCATOR FOR 20+ YEARS AND CAN SEE RIGHT THROUGH IT!

I had to remind the team for my oldest daughter that I used to be a teacher in languages and speech and YES, I know what I'm talking about!
