This is our 70 year old Aunt Mary, who relocated from Wisconsin after the election to Seneca Falls, NY, Birthplace of Women’s Rights. Mary hadn’t protested since the 1970s, but she was all in!

We had almost 500 protestors in our historic little town. Men, women, children, veterans. 🇺🇸💪💙

If you read all the way through, it talks about how she said on CNN that meteorologists are being let go at an alarming rate across the nation. So much that in the future communities will not get accurate weather information, which will impact safety.

Either way we consume the material. One way uses your eyes- the other way uses your ears.

And for some- using their ears works better for them. I’m honestly much more distracted while reading a book. But I do both.

How lucky we are that we have both options!

She was beautiful inside & out. And always said I kept her young. She lived to be 88. Still miss her everyday.

My mom told me that she had almost died having baby #4. The next 4 kids were birth control failures. I was a late in life “surprise” baby.

I totally get it- I never really felt parented or close to my siblings- most are much older than me.

Why are we putting women through this again??!!

I just wanted to add that I loved my mom very much. She was an absolute saint, and a wonderful mom & grandma.

She did the best she could considering what life threw her.
Just wish she could’ve had a better life with more choices. She was very well-informed & ALWAYS voted!

I’m 61 & my mom would have turned 107 years old today.

If you do the math… she had me when she was 45.5 years old.

I’m the youngest of 9. My parents were poor, old & clearly did not want 9 kids.

She was also born before the 19th Amendment was passed.
