6. Last point: ultimately the disconnect on metafy guides comes from creators wanting to protect their content, and end consumers not knowing what to expect. The better metafy guides will often have sample sections so you can kinda "know before you buy". Also try to match price with effort/results

5. Unless metafy guides come with gameplay or heuristic breakdowns, often players will have a hard time translating notes into actual gameplay decisions. Again very dependent on the guide, but even the best guides will struggle w/ examples unless there's some direct coaching/tips offered.

3. Living in 2026, nearly everything feels paywalled (news, media, educational material, etc) If I have the opportunity to engage with my community w/o charging them, I feel like that helps engagement withing the FaB community. (we do sell tokens, but we've kinda taken a loss on those tbh)

2. Metafy guides are a product that requires constant evolution and updates. FaB metas often change on a monthly if not weekly basis so capturing that nuance in a guide constantly is very challenging and new things are learned all the time. Too frequent/not enough updates are both bad experiences.

1. We're fortunate enough to really not need the extra income from monetizing our content directly via guides. I think a lot of players can and should charge based on the quality of their results/content and there's nothing wrong with doing that if the price matches the quality

There are a couple reason's why I'll never make a metafy guide (this is not shade towards a lot of the better metafy content out there, the ones I've bought are very high quality)

I think that it should be implemented now and every set it isn't it gets harder. PEN might've been the set where the ship sailed on it but I think it makes the game better on every metric other than nullrunes being blank cards

You have no idea how good this idea is and how much I have thought about this. I think it's a cold take even

Errata all equipment that has Arcane Barrier to not have it, then errata all arcane effects to have a built in "You may pay X to prevent X of this damage" rider and then 100% of people's problems with Arcane Damage will be solved

I've been a huge proponent of "Kano is good for the game actually" and I think LSS should hear it more
