September 8th is Star Trek Day, and so it's only logical that we celebrate by boldly going where only 11 states have gone before and establishing a Prescription Drug Affordability Board in Virginia.

We can't wait for the future; the time for prescription drug affordability in Virginia is now.

This Labor Day, our Organizing Director Eddie Seay joined others and spoke at a Workers over Billionaires event at Town Point in Norfolk. In Virginia, workers making over $17,000 a year pay the same tax rate as millionaires and billionaires. It's time for a fair tax system in Virginia!

My baby was in NICU for 6 weeks. Our hospital was 20 miles away. My husband had 2 weeks of paternity leave. I had to find care for my toddler, go to & from hospital. This can't be normal. US is the ONLY one without PFML!

Our Organizing Director, Eddie Seay, joined other organizations at a Protect Our Medicaid event in Norfolk. We know that Medicaid is facing cuts right now, and how devastating these cuts will be for the 2 million Virginians and over 71 million Americans who benefit from Medicaid.
