🧵 Heck, they even now want to make the drive out to see us more often in the future, and have expressed a desire for me to show them more of this weapon on such occasions! I'm honestly feeling so frikkin' proud of myself and the work I've put into the success of this study group. Take that, anxiety!

🧵 However, the fact that our visitors praised my work multiple times and that one of them expressed a desire to train more with the funky weapon involved truly made my day! My aim with them had been to contribute to my club's good name but it seems I shot straight for the stars and succeeded 🤩 🧵

Last night, I led my very first ever HEMA study group with my local club. Not only did we have a great club turnout, we also had 2 visiting veterans from another city's club come to visit! I won't fully believe in the scope of my success until I see next week's turnout because #impostersyndrome. 🧵

For what it's worth, Yudkowsky gets thoroughly ridiculed. But yeah, I was kinda surprised I'd never heard of these modern Rationalists before recently. It seems to have taken the Zizians' acts to bring the subject closer to the surface.

ADHD life hack!

Literally just watched a video by Strange Aeons on a "rationalist" HP fanfiction and it's just *chef's kiss*. The video, not the fanfiction. That was cringe AF and may or may not have been used to fund a weird culty rationalist org.

This is me shouting from the rooftops that I am quite proud of myself for sticking with practicing German enough that it's becoming routine despite my rampant ADHD. Yay me!

if you’re a non-black author who decides to write a black mc, you absolutely need to take responsibility for the gross reception and erasure done to said character from your own reader base and speak tf up. there’s no reason you should let racism and colorism fly within your own fandom.
