I had a great first meeting at Glen Eden yesterday with someone who is excited about nudist history and wants to volunteer to help preserve it. We have volunteer opportunities to volunteer in person if you can make it to Glen Eden, and remote volunteer opportunities if you can't.

Congratulations, and welcome to paradise! It was great meeting you in person and I look forward to working with you in WNRL as we gather, preserve, organize and celebrate nudist/naturist history.

More important than Ray's straw hat, WNRL has documentation of why Ray is in the AANR Hall of Fame (as the father of Canadian nudism), how he helped triple Olive Dell's membership, how he (of course) founded Glen Eden, and the essential role that his wife Mildred played along the way.

I'd say 1962 or 1963? Even though Glen Eden was founded in 1963, the sale was in escrow during 1962 and the Natural Life Foundation was allowed to have an event that year.

I'm saddened to report that Cec Cinder, father of the Free Beach Movement and author of the Nudist Idea, has passed at the age of 98. I encourage you to read Evan Nix's write-up about Cec on Planet Nude. Cec's archives are available to researchers at the WNRL.

That has been sort of true here in So Cal so far this spring. Highs in the 90s, then a week later, highs in the low 60s. Not exactly "grab the mittens," but we're spoiled.

A very entertaining story, a page turner. Will be grabbing a copy of the sequel soon!

This brought back great memories, of first seeing this movie when I was about 10. Even though it was the censored version, the visuals of Tarzan and his new-found Jane innocently swimming together made a lasting impression.

Very inspiring Evan! I feel the same way about the nudist community. There are opportunities for everybody to make a difference. And it feels so good when you see the results. Be kind, be helpful, and you can be part of the change for the better.
