The Namco Legendary Pack DLC is available now for Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration!

This new expansion - priced at $7.99 USD - chronicles the history of Atari's relationship with Namco, featuring several more classic games, supplemental materials, and new interviews.

In Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, the playable characters have two karts to select from as opposed to only the one from the first game. The new karts have added top speed, but reduced acceleration.

The image below shows the kart options for Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and Blinky.

During Pac-Man's encounter with Dr. Eggman in the Sonic DLC for Pac-Man World 2: Re-Pac, there is an instance where he latches onto the back of the Egg Mobile - not unlike in Pac-Man World 3, where he does the same thing to Erwin's floating vehicle.

This Flash introduction video used to play on the website for Namco Experience, a chain of entertainment venues that once operated in the United Kingdom.

For E3 2005, Namco used this teaser trailer featuring Pac-Man to announce that they acquired the license for Warhammer.

Following this, Bandai Namco eventually released Warhammer: Battle for Atluma for PSP and Warhammer: Mark of Chaos for PC and Xbox 360.

Early screenshots of Ms. Pac-Man Quest for the Golden Maze show that the game was once intended to be a remake of the original Ms. Pac-Man.

Interestingly, the second screen shows Pac-Man as the player character and the maze has been restyled after his debut game.

Despite Ms. Pac-Man's appearances as a character in games and media in the 1980s, her 1982 debut game had to wait a while before seeing a release in Japan

Japanese players would finally get to officially play the game when a version of Ms. Pac-Man was made for Atari Lynx in 1990

This may indicate that an announcement for its release is coming up soon.

Splat is a 3D Ms. Pac-Man fangame created for the Jellygames website in the 2000s. The game incorporates the signature arcade gameplay into a sprawling cylindrical maze design.

The "splat" is the sound that plays when encountering the spiked enemies that replace the four ghosts.

PacMario is a Mario fangame created with The Games Factory in 2003 by Thienou.

The title features gameplay styled after Pac-Man in which Mario traverses a series of mazes to collect all of the coins while avoiding enmies.

Each world ends with a boss encounter against Bowser.

By the end of October, the Atari Gamestation Go and Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition consoles have been officially released.

Included with the 2600+ is Pac-Man: Double Feature, a version of the arcade classic freshly built for Atari 7800 and compatible hardware.

One fateful day at a bowling alley, little kid me gazed upon the flashy arcade machines in the gameroom and took particular notice of the Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga Class of 1981 cabinet. Then I played it.

It was on that day that I became a Pac-Man fan.

I am 29 now.

When Pac-Man was first turned into a Halloween costume in 1982...Well.

It consisted of a mask based on Midway's cabinet art portrayal, yellow pants, and a torso featuring a red maze in the background.

The folks at Google created a new Pac-Man game to celebrate this incoming Halloween, as well as the 45th anniversary of the franchise!

For those that haven't seen Pac-Man's official social media channels, it has just been announced that the yella fella will make his long-awaited debut in the 99th Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Catch the tradition on November 27th to see the giant Pac-Man balloon make its way through New York!

The hover jump in Pac-Man World: Re-Pac allows Pac to flutter in the air for about one second at most...in Normal mode.

When playing on Easy mode, Pac-Man is able to flutter for up to approximately 20 seconds!

Shadow Labyrinth will be receiving a new update in the near future, putting it to version 1.1.0.

In a video with a message from the game's team, the update aims to address the high difficulty, the maze section gameplay controls, and the checkpoint/save point placements.

During his time at DC Comics, artist Ernie Colon created a crossover comic starring Pac-Man and Superman, with the dialogue written in Japanese.

It is not currently known what purpose this comic served, nor how many pages it consisted of.

Although the Ms. Pac-Man smartphone app has mostly remained the same as it was when it debuted, it did receive a maze pack for a limited time in October 2014 as part of a partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

It costed $0.99 USD, and all proceeds went to the NBCF.
