I beat the Dead Space remake today! Kinda a big deal for me cause ive just never really played horror games before? This game was a masterpiece, and easily one of my new favorite games. The limb severing mechanic, the 100% diegetic ui, and the zero gravity sections were so cool. I love this game

I don't see From as the "bad guys" in this scenario. They don't want a third party to touch a game thats super important to them, they'd want to be the ones to do it, and Sony respected their wishes. They didn't say no to a BB remake, they said no to Bluepoint doing it

I get it honestly. BB is Miyazaki's baby, he doesn't want another studio to alter his vision. The Demon's Souls remake is beautiful, but made changes that, to some, affected the game's art direction and From doesn't want that to happen to BB. Its too important to Miyazaki to not be directly involved
