A spaceship. It has an angular cockpit, with an open missile bay on the side, a railgun at the front, and a reverse-facing rocket engine underneath. Behind it, lit by two circular dusty plasma radiators, is a cylindrical tank, and behind that, shielded by armor and extending further, a Z-pinch style fusion engine with a magnetic nozzle. Behind it can be seen many stars, the Magellanic clouds, and Pluto and Charon. Atop the ship sits a green-white-turquoise anthropoid-like person, which is a colonial organism alien taking on an anthropoid shape temporarily. There's a quote on the image, reading: Plutonians: But there is no air here. Topology. What the mass of organisms in front of me is doing is manipulating the topology of the universe itself. Or rather, maybe demanding it to assemble itself as asked. I realise that my reaction to this, as it is, is yet another humanism I despise. I am human, after all. That barrier that says, I can't do this, so it's not human. It's cruel. I should try not to be cruel. It even took on a human appearance. For my comfort? I shouldn't assume. A Plutonian. A caption on top of an image, relating to a concept within the author's visual novel project, nihil novi. It explains "the nav", alternate spellings "nava" and "nawa". The image itself is that of Saturn, with a striking sun shining from behind its rings. Odd structures can be faintly seen on Saturn, and its two moons, Titan and Enceladus can also be seen, with similar structures on Titan. The caption reads: Exploration. That's what K2 trades in — exploration. Of space, of the sciences, of the world. These are well-trodden paths — every step taken is a step taken within a fossilised footstep, and every new imprint in the mud is scrutinised. There's a kind of disrespect people have towards children's exploration. It's play. Things adults have already found. A new sandcastle? Couldn't compare to Neuchatel. A new satellite could never compare to Sputnik. I searched, and I found it — another world, something nobody but me knows. Any other knowledge likely gone in the war two decades ago. Alien. Exotic. Unusual. Something different. I found the 'other world', all on my own. What it is, doesn't matter. I found it. It is signed E Zvolinska.
