Thibs did a fantastic job building a winning culture however he never altered his flawed coaching philosophy and was too quick to fall back on the lineups and rotations that felt comfortable despite them not working. Thib’s boy Leon runs the team and even he knew it was time for a new voice.

1) fire a HC who lost the locker room and lacks creativity + player accountability
2) perform due diligence
3) hire a 2x COTY with 30 years of coaching experience, 10 as a HC with finals experience + who had the #1 offense in 2022 without a top 20 player
