Catherine O’Hara dead at 71: reports Canadian American actor Catherine O’Hara, best known for her roles in Schitt’s Creek, Home Alone and Beetlejuice, has died at age 71, according to multiple reports.

So this one hurts, a lot. I actually can’t quite believe it’s true. RIP to a Canadian legend, to an iconic comedian, an inspiring woman, and by all accounts wonderful human being. 💔

Okay I’ll admit this made me genuinely laugh out loud! 😁

Last fall I did a “mini session” photographed by the lovely Erin Hurst and ended up with some delightful "dark academia" pics! I was going for a "professor who isn't upset with you, only disappointed if you don't live up to your potential" kind of aesthetic. Think we nailed it! 😁

As of Friday I have written 22 books! Wha?? How did that happen?? This one was definitely a struggle but the feeling you get when you finish a book makes all the hard work, the self-doubt, all of it, worth it! I'm really rather proud! ❤️

I started at 11 in Toronto on the TTC. Taking the subway and bus to and from school. Most of the kids at my school did as well. 😊

Saw @realgdt.bsky.social’s FRANKENSTEIN on IMAX the other night & still thinking about it. Beautiful, moving, epic with some delightfully funny moments. The audience in my theatre applauded at the end! Also everyone who said I’d cry clearly knows me well! If you can catch it on the big screen DO IT❤️
