Today we have a government banning DEI and any research seen as including it. Our FDA is being run by anti-science lunatics who are going to get millions of people killed or injured.

Thalidomide was never approved by the FDA and so wasn't used in the US except for testing. The reason was that the FDA employed a woman scientist, Francis Oldham Kelsey, who read the research and realized that testing had never included results pregnant women. (DEI for the win!)

But a new sheriff was recently elected (with some questionable campaign donations) and suddenly he's telling me that we just need to end the dispute by any means, so I should just let the neighbor just have my yard.

I complained and tried to stop them, so they broke all my windows and tried to set my house on fire causing massive damage to it.

I asked for help and the police came in to help me stop it. They were initially very supportive and gave me tools to defend my home.

Once upon a time my much wealthier neighbor decided that since my yard was once part of their lot before they former owners sold it off that it's rightly theirs, and they started moving their shit onto it.
