For years Fox News et al have used "mainstream media" and "liberal media" as a bullshit gaslight dog whistle. They will continue to do so; but if paramount buys WB, we will have officially entered a state of fully captured conservative/fascist media, and everybody will just be...fine with that.

The one solace I take:
