The Southern Flannel moth, or Megalopyge opercularis, is a species of moth native to Eastern United States and parts of Central America. The "fur" of the larva contains venomous spines that cause extremely painful reactions in human skin upon contact. The adult does not have venom.

Pseudocreobotra wahlbergi, or the spiny flower mantis, is a species of mantis native to sub-Saharan Africa. It is about 40 millimeters, or 1.5 inches. Females tend to have slightly shorter antennae & longer wings, while males have shorter wings, longer antennae.

Silverfish are one of the oldest living insects on the planet, dating back over 400 million years.
Silverfish are surprisingly fast, able to move quickly on horizontal surfaces. They can jump 2 feet vertically and can squeeze through tiny gaps to rooms
