On to #ahouseofdynamite which really liked, tense, split into three sections, yes the ending will upset many but for me it all fitted in well. Big fan of Kathryn Bigelow films and this up there as one of her best.

While away finally after a couple of false starts finally did a double bill binge of #Dune 1 & 2. Epic filmmaking and visually brilliant. Distilled a complex story into quite a simple arc and with plans for a third this exceeded my expectations

Second film was one of my favs and one I rewatch every year. #moneyball and seeing it again so soon after F1 show that Pitt still has that charm and easy going way he had during this brilliant film.

The #Thursdaymurderclub was exactly as expected, cosy sunday afternoon murder mystery tv movie fair. All the leads were good and having a good time, it looked good and I'd be happy to see them back again.

Complete opposite with #F1, was fun, Pitt was in full charm mode, driving sequences were good. Of course it fell into cliche mode few times, but overall a rocking bit of entertainment.

With MI i could see what Cruise was going for but far too complicated,over long stunts and in the end I got tired of it. A pity as I really enjoyed the previous film.

#Oceangate.... Or when CEOs go mad. Fascinating documentary on the #Oceangate tragedy, a tale of a CEO who just wouldn't listen to others and ploughed onwards to disaster. How anyone sane would get into that that sub is amazing, but they fell for his hype.

Watched #Materialists was a bit...no it was...a slow burn. Old fashioned film in many ways, time for characters to breathe, exploring relationships. Not very likeable lead played by Johnson but she does well with decent support from Pascal and Evans.

One for the wife #Thesplit Barcelona, shown last Christmas but we watched it this week....taking up space on teh recorder...watch or delete time. Walker is good and it's all very glossy and fake,certainly could have been done over 90 mins instead of two one hour shows.

Season 5 of #Grace finished. Enjoyable and i think they do a good job with the budget they have and i have soft for Brighton, so always looking to see where they filmed it. But plot holes aplenty and lots of things just happening by coincidence.

Watched #Inception the other day, excuse being my wife had never seen it. Have dipped into over the years when i catch it on sky, but a full watch you remember what abloody good film it is and films recently with only one or two exceptions are nowhere near as well made.

Bosch spin off #Ballard was solid without doing anything special. Maggie Q lead the show well with good support. Maybe the cast of Bosch dropping in occasionally felt a bit like a crowbar being used, but wasn't overdone. I'd watch a season 2 if done.

That's season 4 of #TheBear all done and dusted, better than season 3 and last episode a powerhouse of acting. There's a lot going on in this series, and yes it sometimes hits the wrong note, but overall I love this show and the characters.

Finished it off last night, I was not sure either to start with and there are lots of holes and criticism you could throw at it, but I did find it very enjoyable...but as already mentioned that's down a lot to Tom Hardy.

Finished it off, really enjoyed it, hope it's gets a second series. Close to end of Mobland as well, which ch certainly has some good moments, mostly involving Hardy.
