And they're done! I'm so happy with how this turned out. I'm starting to feel a little more confident in being able to produce finished illustrations in traditional media, not just studies. 😊This is watercolor + gouache., with a little bit of color pencil and pastel for final touches.

She’s never hesitated to share her opinions. When we’re out on walks she seeks out the neighborhood cats to confront them and explain that she’s the boss.
I told her it’s very rude to do to cats just hanging out on their own lawns and porches.

I definitely do not a second one of these little monsters in my home XD

The more I think about it (and the more encouragement bot replies I get on this post, I don’t know why it went ‘viral’) the more I’m agreeing I DO NOT need or want a second cat. 😆
Having one cat means we can travel and roadtrip with her, that’d be impossible with two.

Sometimes my cat is a smart, brilliant animal, other times she pees on her own foot and then walks all over the bed.

I might just be feeling guilty about not giving her enough attention. She’s actually not a lap cat at all but she always wants to play and follows us around the house.

She was almost a year old when we got her, I don’t know how much contact she had with other cats when she was a kitten.

That’s a good idea, there would definitely have to be a trial period!

I keep telling myself that if a kitten appears on the porch, it’s ours, the universe has decided.

She is fickle, she’s always interested in meeting the cats we see out on walks, buts she’s a little aggressive in her approach, most act scared of her.
It’d be gamble as to whether she’d see another cat as a playmate or a rival

I just feel really bad when I’m in my studio working and my cat sits in the window of the house and meows for me to come back. 😭😭😭

I’m still asking that question. I have always been a one-cat-at-a-time person,
but Phoebe spends a lot of hours alone and when we’re working, and when we’re around she’s constantly following us and trying to get us to play and pay attention to her. I’m worried she’s lonely

Well, there’s more to consider than that, there’s vet bills and monthly food bills.

I can’t stop thinking about wanting a second cat. What is wrong with me?
I have never wanted responsibility for two cats before.
Phoebe is so special, and yet I keep thinking she needs another cat to spend time with.

It’s hard to be a human right now, let alone a creative person with deep feelings. I try to remember that our work isn’t our worth, our value is inherent because we exist and we can express love.
And I know platitudes seem empty rn, but I really value you and everything you’ve brought to my life.❤️

Yeah, I had to go with the cheapest model, and they’ve shrunk the Intuos pen, it’s much shorter and narrower, except at the tip.

I’ll check out the XP grips, thank you for the suggestion!
