Flakse: a Norwegian word for the gentle flutter of wings, a brief movement that disturbs still air. It is how space shifts, how light adjusts, how small moments can carry the weight of our times. Within frames, we try to hold these quiet shifts, shaping how we see. #photography

I'm going to put down the Ringed Plover now; this is how it's looking.

I added some stones and other details.

A few weeks back we met up BBC Shropshire to record a collection of stories taken from 'The Folklore of the Tanat Valley - Chwedlau Gwerin Dyffryn Tanat' for their 'Secret Shropshire' series, on location at Llanymynech Hill.

You can find the episode here:

CYBORG or just a mannequin head in a shop window! Not quite sure which #ArtChallenge category this fits in! Maybe #WindowsOnWednesday or even #WhackyWednesdayArt ? #Photography #EastCoastKin #MicroFourThirds #M43 #Lumix

The Norman church of St Mary's Knockin was constructed between 1182 and 1195 by Ralph Le Strange and began life as a chapel to the adjacent castle (of which only a tree-covered mound survives). Despite being gutted by fire in 1767, the church retains many original features including a font, the Norman arches of the disappeared north transcept and what is said to be the best priests door in the county... which is now blocked-up!

The north county church alighted in #Knockin this afternoon at the beautiful Norman church of St Mary's, which dates from 1182. Despite being gutted by fire in the late 18th century it retains many original features and some striking stained glass. A visit is highly recommended!

I started this project a while ago & then events in life put it on the back burner. I’m hoping to pick it up again soon.

I always start a body of work with a lot of experimenting with printing, papers & processes and put them into a scrapbook. These are tea toned Cyanotypes on Japanese paper.

With the books now all with me I can begin the fulfillment process for the 250 books preordered in the kickstarter and since.
Each book needs to be signed, placed in its bubble wrap, then cardboard wrap with the postcard and then the various printed labels attached, before it...
