I'm done giving money to the DNC (with the exception of AOC) until they are under new leadership that understands this isn't the politics of the 80's where we hope the other side will be honest and play nice.

He landed in the perfect storm of white resentment following President Obama.

Trump isn't the X factor. We are. Whether we stay true to ourselves and each other.

The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased.

Appeasement only feeds their insatiable hunger for power.

Nine months ago I put most of my hope in major institutions continuing to hold fascism in check, but had little expectation that regular people with little to no power would step up and put themselves at risk.

I had it exactly backward.

Fascism thrives in the face of timid opposition.
