my first time seeing Laguna de Bay in person was very special to me because ancestors on both sides of my family lived near this lake (on different sides of it). hopefully we will get to go closer to the water later in the trip!

hiii so i was forced to be out of work for over a month because the parents of one of my students are homophobic as hell and attempted to get me fired by lying and accusing me of hitting their child (which is untrue). even after my bosses AND the district AND cps backed me up and proved my innocence, this bigoted family kept coming up with lies to keep me out of work, and it ended up keeping me out of work for over a month in order to protect me from them before the bosses could force them to stop.

i am so behind on bills and i'm in a lot of debt right now as a result of not getting paid for nearly half of december and all of january. i lost thousands of dollars because of this one family who still refuses to apologize for their behaviour. if anyone can spare any bit of money, it'll go the long way for me. even a simple $20 would help pay part of my bills. having to ask for help is hard, but i'm trying to make an effort to stay alive anyway.

can anybody lend a hand to a broke lesbian who just suffered from a homophobic hate crime at work? 💔
