Last week was the first fortext lab-workshop of 2025! Last week I attended the @rc21project.bsky.social symposium in the beautiful Kollegienhaus in Erlangen. I appreciated the focus on theoretical considerations around concordance analysis and the openness to discuss advantages and disadvantages in regards to ‘manual’ research. #RC21Symposium (1/2)

Today I attended the Reading Concordances Training Day in Erlangen (@rc21project.bsky.social). It was really interesting to learn about an algorithmic view of concordance analysis, focused on sorting, ordering and grouping operations. #RC21Symposium (1/2)

What a week! An insightful #DH2024 in Washington, D.C is over. We introduced our project KatKit (@gerstorfer.bsky.social , @julianhaeussler.bsky.social, @evelyngius.bsky.social) with which we want to give food for thought on how category theory can be used for (literary) operationalization.

#DH2024 is already in full swing and @julianhaeussler.bsky.social already gave a lightning talk on our KatKit project at one of the workshops on Monday. Come to his long presentation on the project today at 10:30 in Van Metre Hall 134.
