I started book 6 of 13 of Bernard Cornwell’s The Last Kingdom/Saxon Stories series last night and this morning I bought myself the next three books in the series. 😅

Next week is super busy but I’m hoping I’ll still be able to keep going strong on my reading roll

Just over a week ago I bought four books and, considering the speed at which I usually read, I thought they’d last me about two months…Guess I was wrong! 😂

I’ve been reading so much lately and it feels great!

Usually it takes me 2-3 weeks to finish reading a book, but I’ve read nearly two books in 4 DAYS!

Over the past week or two, while I’ve been ill, I binged the entirety of ‘The Last Kingdom’ series on Netflix. (Shh I know how many episodes that is… 😅).

I’ve had some of the books for years, but never got around to reading them. I think now is the time that I change that!

Still ill… At least I don’t get ill often at all. MAYBE once a year, if not even less frequently. But when I do, I’m terrible. I suddenly want to do everything, even though I should be doing very little.😅

One good thing about being ill this week is that I’ve had a lot of time to catch up on my reading. I’ve done so much in fact that I’m considering (once again 😅) increasing my reading goal. 🤔

Didn’t end up writing anything yesterday. Still don’t feel great (but I think a little better) and so I think I’ll stick to my plan of watching tv and reading, and start dealing with that chapter that needs editing sometime next week.
