i've simply seen too many people sharing headlines like this and reporting that they're going to kill us all and end the world and not nearly enough posts about why they won't, and it won't. 'good always wins' is not a good enough answer. we need to get more realistically hopeful immediately.

i really need someone to explain to me, realistically, how and why they won't be able to go through with this, because i am not about to just sit here and accept it. i've got too much shit to do in my life still.
