7 containers of home made tomato passata sitting on the kitchen bench cooling prior to freezing. Tomatoes from my garden are the star ingredient 😊

Had a lot of suddenly really ripe tomatoes from my garden sitting around, so decided to make some passata I can freeze and use in all sorts of dishes. This is just over 1.2L all divided up and cooling before freezing. 😊

More cooking with home grown veg - 2nd batch of apple cucumber pickles done and dusted. Twice the amount as the first batch of cucumber pickles! Heaps more cucumbers on the vine, too, may have to have a go at making bread and butter pickles next 😊

Here in Australia there is a cap on donations to political parties. Although there are billionaires that a) don’t like that and b) try to get around it by allowing their preferred candidates to fly around in their personal jets etc.
I’m sure there are other countries that limit donations too.

Grey/white Mr Tinker cat in classic loaf position on the floor, staring off into nothingness. He’s been motionless for the past 20 mins after eating some cat treats that contained catnip.

So I bought some new kibble cat treats that are chicken flavoured and contain catnip. Mr Tinker wolfed his three treats down and I suspect also got one of Princess Leia's.
He's been lying motionless like this , staring, for the past 20 mins 😆

Three baskets and a bowl full of home grown produce - 3 varieties of tomatoes, chillies, eggplants, zucchini and an apple cucumber 😊

Things are going well in our little garden! Still have tomatoes ripening on the back windowsills and heaps more on the plants.
The big red tomatoes are going to be turned into relish in the next couple of days 😊

Harry has had an all over clip today. The indignity!
He hates being brushed, especially if there are mats. So it’s off to the vet for sedation and clippage. If only he’d let us brush him 😔
