Prices are sometimes going down based on the queue so it can work in your favor if the demand is lighter than they expect. For Bruno Mars, my best advice would be that if you don't get the tickets you want at the price you want, wait it out. For a stadium gig, there will always be tickets available.

The starting point is what I’m referring to. They have an idea based on past sales but they will sometimes set the face value right before while the queue is lining up

A lot of times the price is being set while the promoters are looking at the demand by the size of the queue
