By far my favorite character from Fields of Mistria. Although, there are so many amazing characters, it was hard to choose in the beginning.😍 I normally don't do pieces like this with full shading, props, bg etc. So, this was quite challenge for me! Getting the color to balanced enough to where it was easily read by the eye and also not blindingly saturated was tough!🤔 I'm happy to take commissions if anyone would like their farmer or some other fan art. 💖

I HAD to jump on the bandwagon. I love this game so much and it's been so fun seeing everyone's art!

As always, I thought up a bit of backstory for this character to help me design him. 🤔 Doesn’t the Architect make you think of some amazing detective that can put all of his emotions aside in order to solve even the most difficult cases? It did for me! 🕵️‍♂️ I imagined that INTJ as the main character in a gritty detective story. He wakes up next to the body of his wife, murder weapon in hand and a single chess piece next to her body; a calling card. ♟ He knows he didn’t commit the crime but clearly someone is attempting to frame him. Knowing there’s too much evidence stacked against him, the Architect goes on the run and begins his search for his wife’s killer. INTJ gives the impression of someone who is highly intelligent but socially inept. That would make for some interesting storytelling as he meets different people! ✨ 📚✨ #MBTI #16Personalities #INTJ

Simple Environment Concept

Guys, bad news, I'm an idiot. I posted all of my stuff in bad resolution. I had to repost... T-T

While designing this character, I decided to give him a little background to help me flesh out his design. I imagined that since ENFJ has such a strong sense of justice that a great way to create some interesting conflict would be to make him the son of a corrupt ruler. When he can no longer tolerate his father’s evil deeds but lacks the power to stop him, ENFJ sets out on a journey to gather a rebel army. ENFJ trades his crown and life of luxury in favor of protecting his people. He eventually has to go to toe to toe with the evil king, becoming a champion for the people!

To help me design this character, I came up with a bit of a backstory for her. Sticking with the elf/forest spirit theme, I imagined INFP taking an unassuming walk through the forest where she discovers an injured satyr. Since INFP is so empathetic, she of course asks if there’s anything she can do besides tend to his injuries. The satyr explains that he is no longer able to perform his duties as a guardian of the forest because of his injuries and asks INFP to step in. INFP nervously agrees and begins her adventure. She encounters all sorts of things like mischievous pixies, angry ogres, and even rival forest spirits. And of course, since INFP is such a romantic, she and the satyr develop quite a romance. 😉 #MBTI #INFP #16personalities

While I was brainstorming the characters for this series, I asked myself the question "What if each MBTI was the main character in their own story??" Here's what I thought of when it came to the Advocate: I loved the idea of the Advocate being secretly powerful but choosing a humble existence and to help others with his knowledge. So, the Advocate lives in a peaceful eleven city, working as a humble herbalist/healer. Although he has deep knowledge of ancient magics and is quite an adept sorcerer. However, when a powerful rival sorcerer attacks his home, he is forced to augment his power by making a dangerous deal with an ancient silver dragon who is in search of a way to maintain his life as he is sickly and old. In exchange, the Advocate becomes much more powerful but must constantly struggle to maintain control as the dragon attempts to take over his body. So, after defeating the sorcerer, the Advocate could go on a crazy adventure to try to separate himself from the dragon.

To help me design the campaigner (ENFP) I gave her a bit of backstory. Making her an explorer was an obvious choice but what kind of explorer? I think ENFP would make an interesting cartographer! So, growing up, ENFP always wanted to travel to far away places and meet interesting people but when her father, another cartographer, goes missing in a dangerous land, ENFP sets out to find him. Along the way, she takes up contracts, faces challenges, and makes new friends. Of course, ENFP never lets all these challenges get her down because ENFP can always find a reason to smile! I also liked the idea that she was a bit of a prankster. 😋
