Exactly - no rush on it, as I’ve got enough already. I’ve been looking forward to it forever so what’s another month or two if they get it right? Always have a backlog to get through, but Mina will jump to the front as soon as I get my copy.

In the final days of arcades in the early 90s, these were really impressive to us little kids. The darker (and cigarette smokier!) the arcade, the better it showed up but I remember it being expensive, so my quarters were saved for other games.

Someone called it a cozy RPG once and I haven’t been able to think of it any other way since then. (They weren’t wrong, either)

Was reading about horror books and how “moving into a home too good to be true” was a common 70’s era horror story theme. Like, it was unusual to get a good deal on housing at the time and the bottom could fall out economically for a family and that was scary stuff then. (And now).

Getting a small alumni profile from UTEP (go Miners! ⛏️) and so I had to go back through old photos from when I was in El Paso 20 years ago. Came across this gem of me from 2007. Camera phones were awful then so this must have been from an actual digital camera. Still got my El Paso phone number!
