Saw a hairline crack in it this morning, so it’s got to go after 20 years of service. Saw me through grad school, five moves, marriage, first home, dog adoptions, death, COVID, several hospitalizations, and two layoffs. Thank you for your service, Caribou Coffee mug! 🫡

Other good advice is to get official transcripts soon after you graduate to keep in case you’re ever asked for them - it’s a pain (and expensive) getting them shipped to you when they’re randomly needed later in life.

I think this is it - it provided a vehicle to take hateful views and disguise them as a controversy to a terminally online and vocal group, who then spread it uncritically. Gamergate crawled so manufactured hit pieces like “woke” and “DEI” could run. GG left a lasting and painful echo, sadly.

I’ve forgotten how genuinely sweet and encouraging those characters were at the very end of the game…thanks for reminding me!

Yesterday, I finished the Thanksgiving apple pie, took out the Christmas decorations, watched the Netflix Frankenstein (excellent!!) and thought about 2026 goals - think there aren’t many days in the year you can cover so many holiday bases in 24 hours?

Shopped the local game store for Pokémon ZA for Christmas, and they had boxed NES games so I grabbed a pair at super sale prices (Romance was practically free!) My mom was awful at video games when I was young but the only one she was good at was Dr. Mario so this one is special to me. #NES #Gaming

Hope whatever you’re going through is temporary and that you’re good as new soon enough! Holiday season can be hard for anyone.

People need to do what people need to do but I’m sorry it happened to you. (I just wanted new stuff and didn’t have a lot of cash). I think I’m going to build a collection that was what I had when I was young, plus the classics I didn’t have. Hope you get em all back one day!
