Just wrapped up an incredible behind-the-scenes tour of LAX today! I had the amazing opportunity to explore the airfield and runways and checked-out the brand-new LAX Metro Transit Center.

It’s amazing to see how much work is happening around this world-class transit hub! ✈️🛫🌎

I was moved by the vigil for Alhambra Police Officer Alec Sanders. Hearing his fellow officers share memories—and seeing his family surrounded by so much support—was a reminder of how he lived his commitment to protect and serve. My thoughts and prayers go to his loved ones and the Alhambra PD. 💙🙏

I am saddened by the passing of Alhambra Police Officer Alec Sanders, who lost his life in the line of duty early Thursday morning. My thoughts go out to his family and loved ones, as well as to the Alhambra Police Department and the entire Alhambra community during this profoundly difficult time.

Congratulations to the Pasadena Friendship Community Development Corporation on the Friendship Terrace development in South Pasadena! These new homes bring a much-needed affordable housing community. Thank you for your commitment to creating affordable housing opportunities for residents of #AD49. 🏡

I am grateful for the opportunity to join Happy Health Day at Langley Senior Center in Monterey Park. Dozens of acupuncturists and providers gave free health screenings to community members. Preventative care is critical for maintaining health. Thank you to everyone who contributed to a great event!

The California Conservation Corps offers valuable, paid on-the-job training and career development for Californians ages 18-25! I was honored to join the Asian Youth Center for a press conference to share these incredible opportunities with our youth and families in the San Gabriel Valley.

I had the great honor of presenting an education grant check to Longden Elementary School in Temple City. Every year, the Barona Band of Mission Indians gives state legislators the opportunity to direct $5,000 of funding. Big congratulations and thank you to Barona Band for investing in education. ⭐️
