My mum’s husband said he went to their local noodle place and the woman who runs it asked how his wife was. And he said he told her she was ill (!)

I get that it’s hard to say, “Oh actually she’s dead.” but I’m wondering how long he’s planning to keep this going.

Oh that’s a pain. Yeah I sometimes roast a big tray of vegetables and then eat it over a few days, I think the oil helps to preserve them. Also have a box by my bed of longlife snacks when I’m having bad pain days, if you can eat nuts or wasabi peas/ roasted chickpeas those are good for variety.

Amazing stuff right here. I’m certain Oscar would have loved this show. So many of his quotes seem made for Hannibal and co.

I always felt he didn’t mean this condescendingly, after all he himself had an amazing memory and could read exceedingly fast. So a well placed quote was part of his own existence. Plus you could interpret this as referring to being in the closet, hiding aspects of yourself etc.

Always loved this quote. I feel it fits Will very well. Hannibal is showing Will both his true repressed self/ potential and how people really perceive him by getting him locked up. The mask belongs to Hannibal but in this universe it’s Will’s too.

Thank you, that does help. I feel more sorry for her as a stranger to be honest because as my mum, one of my main feelings is, phew, she’s not going to be horrible to me anymore.

My mum has died. So it’s all finally over now.

Don’t really know what I’m feeling, it’s like a maelstrom of many different emotions on top of each other.

Got to go in for a scan tomorrow. Let’s hope nothing has worsened since the last one. Just found out my son is getting his third support teacher in 3 months. We’re only just settling down after the school refusal caused by the last switch. I don’t have headspace for anymore problems.
