Under today’s immigration policies, they probably wouldn’t have made it here. Immigrants are part of the fabric of this country. Of this state. Of this district. My sisters were on the frontlines during COVID. I’ve spent my career as an attorney and public servant, fighting for our rights.

The New American Leaders Fund PAC just endorsed me, and this one hits home. My dad came to the U.S. 60 years ago to become an engineer. My mom was a public school teacher. They worked hard, raised daughters who became doctors, attorneys, and public servants, and built a life grounded in service.
