Good question -- Lavender Jack dropped once a week in one 40-panel scroll, so any recap was slotted into the first few panels or woven in as dialogue-based exposition. In either case I tried to integrate it as seamlessly as possible, and now I'm trying to remove it just as seamlessly.

Correcto. It's funny how sometimes the relevant plot details for the Sunday summaries only account for about half of what happens in the dailies. Guess that's what happen when you have a chatty comic.

Getting each season of LAVENDER JACK down to 330 pages requires some cuts, and a common victim is the regular recap material you need in a weekly Webtoon but not a Dark Horse TPB. The panel below is one such casualty — which is a shame, because I love @jennmanleylee.myatproto.social's colors here

It's a little awkward: at the top of the page you have to switch the reading order from "newest first" to "oldest first" and then manually enter the date of the strip you'd like to start with. From there on in you should be good to go!

For a long while I've thought Cameron Monaghan would be a great on-screen Flash Gordon. He's physically dynamic and good and riding the line between being funny and being the straight man, and that's where Flash lives. Plus at this point he's got a lot of practice making green screen sci fi stuff
