Went for a walk today and found a very unbothered red-tailed #hawk.

One thing that was suggested to me is a "news diet." Instead of checking the news constantly set aside specific times to check on ALL the shit. Rather than a constant feed of anxiety, check at those times for a set amount of time. It isn't perfect but it helps me be intentional about my focus.

Macdonald Bookstore in Estes Park Colorado has been around for almost 100 years. They have "blind date" wrapped surprise books - vintage dark humor sounded like a great choice as a distraction for the day.
