the only regret with transitioning i have is that i didn’t act on it sooner even though it’s what i wanted. in the last decade we finally got a point where it was socially acceptable for people to transition younger, and they’re trying to take that away and it breaks my heart

I transitioned back in 2006 and this wave of anti-trans, anti-queer and anti-feminist fascism is super scary to me, not bc it was better back then but at least I had the opportunity to hide. Nowadays every woman who is a bit tall or masculine has to fear for her fucking life.

Transphobia is no more "acceptable" than any other form of bigotry, and I continue to be absolutely astounded, shocked, and revolted that otherwise "liberal" people think otherwise.

What do they want transgender people to do? Hide away?
