i do also think it's kind of funny that i'm a bit less self conscious of when my art is a little off now that it's like clearly a Human kind of wonky and not soulless confused machine wonky. like yeah man that's maybe not quite what an arm looks like but at least /i/ drew that weird ass arm <3

i've felt a little self conscious about this before but i'm a weenie and it helps me a lot to have something to fall back on so i don't accidentally fall into the pit of no-communcation-despair u know

like overall i'm pretty casual/conversational with clients bc i want ppl to feel comfortable (plus i'm not good at being very formal idk) but for those days when i'm rly struggling with words or the anxiety is Getting to me, i keep a little notepad of general messages to fill in the blanks :o

also u know. idk if other artists do this but i've found that having a loose script saved for certain steps of my comms (updates, final check-in, etc) can rly rly help when i'm struggling with the Dread of social interaction but still need to get shit done

slots for portraits n everything are technically open now but i'll make a slightly better post on da weekend btw 🎉 i'll be able to start on any new requests that come in around the 8th :) possibly sooner if i finish up my last two from this batch earlier than that
