YES u nailed it i think... and for the same amount of energy they could've just said "cool art" or nothing at all? and i'm not even sure what kind of response they even want when they ask stupid questions like that either. genuinely just strange and annoyingly common... draw ur own shit‼️

it's great when ppl are curious about art but to me this is just a strange variant of the "omg ur an artist? can u draw me? please?😃" type of person in a way that i can't quite articulate. do u understand

like idk. my urianger from ages ago was the first npc art i did in a while and of course it was also the first time i received like a blatantly hateful comment about my style LMAO

i think after spending years not drawing them very much ive just made myself a little nervous about sharing npc art?? which is like. ok bc im usually focused on my own little guys anyway but since npc art tends to reach a little further i get extra self-critical i guess??
