I'm not that optimistic. When people were losing it over "mEn In WoMeN's SpOrTs" my first thought was great, now in every pee-wee girls' sports league there's gonna be some obnoxious parent accusing other kids of being trans just because they play better than their daughter. They want to be bullies.

Not that the people proposing any of this nonsense actually care, but the result is always going to be trans and cis gendered people alike getting harassed for not being passing enough, and simply due to statistics, it'll likely more often be cis people getting bullied.
