Stephen Miller watching the last Avengers movie. No way does Trump have the attention span to watch a 3 hour movie

First day on the job as Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, Kristi Noem is going to find Prince Andrew sitting at his desk as Special Envoy for the Shield of the United Kingdom

Letting Kristi Noem give a press conference before she realizes she’s fired is a pretty hardcore start to white history month

I used to think the easiest job in the world is being a right wing comedian but it can’t possibly be easier than being a Gen-Z male influencer

TIL: Chester, Illinois has a "Popeye Trail" of 19 statues (28 characters) situated throughout the city in honor of hometown hero Elzie Segar. Beyond the main cast they have Castor/The Whiffle Hen, The Sea Hag/Bernard, Alice the Goon & Child, King Blozo, Toar & more. I have a nerdly urge to visit.

It shows how dominant IRS was at the time and just about every band in it is at their live peak. Even the Police. They come with a lot of baggage (one member anyway) so it’s easy to forget they were good

@dsmaycollins.bsky.social I’m listening to an audiobook on Spotify you might be interested in, Raised on Radio, an oral history of all the β€œuncool” bands like Journey, REO and Styx. I’m up to Ann Wilson getting fired from her McDonald’s job for saying the greasy floor was a work hazard

Kicked off my Basil Rathbone Holmes watch with The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939). Thoroughly enjoyed it, a better β€œmoors” movie than the recent β€œWuthering Heights”. Normally Baskervilles adaptations are a letdown but this is a good one. Holmes’ closing line, β€œoh Watson, the needle!”
