Kicked off my Basil Rathbone Holmes watch with The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939). Thoroughly enjoyed it, a better “moors” movie than the recent “Wuthering Heights”. Normally Baskervilles adaptations are a letdown but this is a good one. Holmes’ closing line, “oh Watson, the needle!”
