I never understood why people liked it. Aside from Peter Ustinov’s acting, it’s just terrible. Disney at its nadir point.

The original always sucked ass that a new adaptation probably would’ve been as bad.

Unlike DKC, most of Naughty Dog's promotional art for Crash 1 didn't rely on pre-rendered models; they simply touched up the models using Photoshop/Illustrator, and that was pretty much it. However, the rendering style here makes it look like a fully realized model.

I NEVER in my life have seen this specific Crash 1 render before. Such an odd one too, you don’t even see Crash’s full face here.

I suppose that’s why it wasn’t used much to promote the game.

I was tempted to include Crash 1, but I resisted the urge because I didn’t want this to be overly focused on Crash, and platformers in general.
