No studio will ever generate 4 options and be like one of these is perfect. They will generate hundreds/thousands driving up executive indecision and take just as long. The actual problem is not how long artist take, its leadership not knowing exactly what they want. AI will not solve that.

There’s still some details about it I haven’t figured out, it’s supposed to be a little ambiguous in regards to what exactly happened and who did what. but the fact remains that Boris has put so much of himself into Connor, knowing damn well that all that man ever wanted was the sweet kiss of death. could he have done something different? Was he not enough? He is so mind-boggling angry, so heart crushingly sad, it’s too painful to admit defeat. and so he chooses absolute delusion, believing he can cheat death and fight God. cause why couldn’t he? spoiled brat’s gotten his way until that moment. that’s the mixed pot of emotion I tried to convey on his face a as if that’s ever gonna solve anything. He’ll be consumed by delirium, dragging Connor back home, cleaning him up and dressing him for bed as if he’s sick or sleeping - and he’ll continue to care for a corpse until the grief makes his own body give out.

But when you zoom in on the photos literally every feather group has been so heavily manipulated and altered by AI editing that it’s impossible to determine subspecies because the photo is essentially fake now; just a mashup of whatever AI thinks parts of a Red-tail should look like. Scroll on… WOW! That’s a remarkable trail cam photo of a Bobcat! It almost looks like a painting!… but the head looks oddly small…. hmmmm. After some prodding the original photo is produced and sure enough it had been so heavily altered by AI ‘post processing’ that the photo posted was essentially a digital mock-up with totally different proportions and fur markings. No longer the photo off the trail cam; it may as well have just been ‘created’ by AI from scratch. This stuff is killing me. My days on social media are becoming very limited. We can’t even trust simple, everyday photos of animals to be real. The wildlife community needs to quit editing with AI, and we need to start calling out photographers that are using it. Our reality is being destroyed all around us.

BBC 'Hero' who wrestled gun from Bondi shooter named as Ahmed al Ahmed Emily Atkinson Sun, December 14, 2025 at 1:06 p.m. CST 2 min read A "hero" bystander who was filmed wrestling a gun from one of the Bondi Beach attackers has been named as 43-year-old Ahmed al Ahmed. This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

Big and small, I've had single-person businesses rip me to shreds over how their colors turned out on newsprint, and have worked with huge companies with THICK brand guidelines with every detail of their brand identity laid out and enforced with an iron fist. But I guess all of that stuff doesn't matter anymore? Who gives a fuck if this Al generated baby has six fingers, that mom-and-pop shop is still going to use it. That rug from Temu says Happy Thanksgivirg? Oh well haha it's just a silly funny thing now (nevermind that you never would have given a B-grade item from a craft show the same consideration). I don't actually care that the Al Coca-cola ad has a truck that changes size every scene, but I can't help but think about how, if it had been some poor underpaid artist, they would have been laughed out of the building. I don't really know how to put it in a succint way but it just feels all the more obvious how much more grace and flexibility has always been possible but never offered.

I think for me part of it is that ideas (at least for me) are often very vague and confining it down to one thing is just really hard.
Also saw a comic once were someone showcased that feeling well of seeing the endless possibilities of the idea vs the limited execution one is able to create of it
