My favorite exploration of it is for the Shenglin/Leiyu child AU; it’s the only hint of Leiyu in him.
Shenglin/Leiyus kids all take after Shenglin, his genes just beat Leiyus out. It does not bother Leiyu as much as it bothers Shenglin, which I love a LOT.

A design detail about Storyteller only he has compared to his siblings; the red in his eyes. They all share this brown/green but not that hint of red.
I always had a reason for it, canonically, it has something to do with his “seeing the past” powers. But not entirely.

This is honestly one of my favorites that I have drawn in this style. He has such a good design!!
