After a short (but steep) hike down from the Hai Van Pass, over the train tracks, and you get to Secret Beach in the foreground, and Leper Beach (foreshadowing!) in the background.

The languages of Southeast Asia don't use indigenous scripts, Khmer and Thai use modified abugidas from Brahmi in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines use scripts from Latin and so does Vietnam, but Vietnamese is very different looking, why?

Hanoi is beautifully clear in recent days, we can see Ba Vì in the distance and even Tam Dảo at night. But it's also brutally hot. Those in the north, stay hydrated, stay indoors when you can, and stay safe out there, high 40's is no joke.
