I think about this a lot. We’re in this situation because too many voters thought they could have their tantrum and vote for an obvious lunatic promising to burn everything down, and SOMEONE would step in to stop him from doing anything too crazy.

1. Yeesh. My personal take is that the casts chemistry made a lot of people overlook the glaring issues of which there are too many to name but 2. we don't need any more "What if the Confederacy had a point?" crap and 3. the misogyny was really bad in this one.

Please remember that a lot of people think the McDonalds coffee case was bogus and stupid and the thing that makes it NOT bogus and stupid and extremely legitimate instead lies in the details.

There are some sets of facts that would support this claim (the family told the school repeatedly there was an issue but school officials faked her results to move her along) and there are some that won’t, and I kinda feel like we need more info.

And Nathan Fillion has been lead on TWO shows now with accusations of bullying.

This is exactly how I feel.

I mean I *might* be excited for a firefly that was just River Tam, Simon Tam, Zoe, Kaylee and Inara if it had a completely new writing staff, Joss had zero input and all of his royalties went to women's orgs. But at that point we should just make new cooler stories.
